The cabins at Pony Creek Park are tucked in a clearing in the Loess Hills of Mills County near trails. Both cabins are fully furnished with two bedrooms on the upper level, a full bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen (stove, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, pots and pans, plates, glasses, and cooking/eating utensils), living area (two full-sized futons and TV). Sleeps up to 10 people.
Both cabins have a basement with a queen bed, twin-sized futon, full-sized bathroom, and sliding door to the patio. The patio is a cement slab with a picnic table and a gravel area that includes a fire pit and charcoal grill.
On the upper level, there is a covered deck with two rocking chairs and a small table. The TVs are hooked to an antenna for local channels and there is no internet.

Facility Contract
By your agreement with these terms and conditions, you represent that you are 21 years or older and that you are authorized to make the reservation on behalf of the group you have listed. You further agree to assume full responsibility for the acts, negligence, or omissions of the members of your group while utilizing said facilities.
Additionally, you agree that you have read and understand the CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICIES concerning this reservation and have also read and understand the FACILITY CONTRACT information.
You are reserving a facility in a Mills County Conservation Board park. ALL COUNTY PARK RULES AND STATE LAWS ARE ENFORCED. Contact the Park Office listed on your reservation confirmation email if you have any questions about park rules, policies, or special requests. Mills County Conservation Board reserves the right of management staff to enter cabin in an emergency, to inspect, and/or replenish supplies.
- Cabins are fully furnished with a full kitchen, 3 queen beds, 2 full futons, 1 twin futon.
- Renters are required to bring their own bedding, pillows and towels.
Failure to clean up the facility or surrounding area as outlined, or failure to comply with park rules or state laws may result in enforcement action. Mills County Conservation Board may take any legal action necessary to recover damages to county property.
Check-in Time: After 4:00 PM on day of arrival
Check-out Time: Before NOON on day of departure.
Clean Up
You are required to clean up the facility and grounds and return them to the condition you received them. Plan to have your facility cleaned and people departed prior to the scheduled NOON checkout time.
VISITORS
All visitors (other than registered overnight campers) must depart the park by 10:30 PM.
SMOKING
Mills County is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited in all buildings.
PARKING
Parking is confined to designated parking areas. If you anticipate more vehicles than spaces provided (2 per cabin), additional parking is available throughout the park on any gravel areas. Please do not block the drive going up to the cabins. No parking or driving off roadways.
DIRECTIONAL SIGNS AND DECORATIONS
Temporary, free-standing directional signs are allowed – not to be attached to park furniture, signposts, or other facilities. Decorations are allowed as long as they are free-standing or not affixed in a manner that would damage a facility or any painted walls (tape, tacks, and staples can cause damage to walls. The use of a no-stick adhesive is recommended). Special care should be taken with balloons so that they do not “escape”.
REFUSE
Mills County Parks observe a “Carry In – Carry Out” refuse policy. However, a limited amount of refuse will be removed by park staff in conjunction with your reservation. All refuse must be placed in the containers provided. You will need to remove any refuse in excess of the capacity of these containers.
PETS
Pets are prohibited in and around cabins.
CANCELLATION POLICY

REFUND POLICY
All reservations with Mills County Conservation Board facilities are final. Reservations are non-refundable unless the following situations occur:
Please understand at the time of booking your reservation that you immediately prohibit other people from reserving and utilizing that facility — they, therefore, go elsewhere to locate a facility for that date. We will observe a NON-REFUNDABLE RESERVATION policy with the following exceptions:
- We are unable to provide your facility (or like facility) in operable condition for the date of your event.
- Travel conditions where a substantial risk is required in order to travel such as a winter storm where a travel advisory has been issued and roads are closed.
