The cabins at Pony Creek Park are tucked in a clearing in the Loess Hills of Mills County near trails. Both cabins are fully furnished with two bedrooms on the upper level, a full bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen (stove, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, pots and pans, plates, glasses, and cooking/eating utensils), living area (two full-sized futons and TV). Sleeps up to 10 people.

Both cabins have a basement with a queen bed, twin-sized futon, full-sized bathroom, and sliding door to the patio. The patio is a cement slab with a picnic table and a gravel area that includes a fire pit and charcoal grill. 

On the upper level, there is a covered deck with two rocking chairs and a small table. The TVs are hooked to an antenna for local channels and there is no internet.  

Only two vehicles have parking at each cabin.

  • Mills County is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited in all buildings.
  • Pets are prohibited in and around cabins.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a reservation, you will forfeit 100% of all reservation fees paid.  All questions about reservations may be made by calling the Mills County Conservation Board office at (712) 527-9685.
